In March 2010 Mike DeVries asked me to film and produce his newest DVD titled “Get Real: Animal Style”. We shot a couple ideas back and forth and Mike agreed to tattoo a life-like gorilla on my leg.

Mike is an incredible tattooer known around the world for his amazing realistic portraits and is in incredible demand. Not only is Mike a master tattooer, but he is also a very patient and understanding mentor and teacher. At one point he was offering one on one seminar’s for tattooers at his shop MD Tattoo Studio in Northridge, CA.
